Cross coilovers - what's the HIGHEST it will go?

Looking for a nice suspension for my R57 MCSC, but don't want to lower the car more than an inch. [Was thinking of the R56 JCW suspension kit (matching springs and shocks), but the parts guys over at my dealership as well as some ppl here advised against it as it wasn't designed for the additional weight of the covertible.]

A lot of the coilovers I've read about state that their minimum drop is over an inch. Couldn't find info on the Cross coilovers. Anyone know what their minimum drop is?

Maybe a point of reference, on my RSX the KW's said minimum of an inch and a half. I ran only about 3/4 inch just fine with full travel.

I believe the Cross, along with BC and Megan, are spring for full race, not street. You did not say what you were intending to use the car for.

"rides well" OK, when you hit an expansion joint in an on-ramp, does it bounce in the air like an "S" does stock? That is a massive amount of spring for a 26oo Lb car on the street with a linear spring.

Well, almost any thing beats the stock shocks, and you betcha, swift is top notch quality! I would like the oppertunity to have a ride over roads I know in a car this stiff. It is highly likely we have different expectations.

I drive my car on a mix of glass smooth asphalt , badly maintained brick and high use concrete freeways with expansion joints. For the money BC racing coilovers are hard to beat.

BC and Megan are more for the street.
