SuspensionSprings, struts, coilovers, sway-bars, camber plates, and all other modifications to suspension components for Clubman (R55), Cooper and Cooper S (R56), and Cabrio (R57) MINIs.
I know, I wish there was more pictures of slammed cars in here. I have yet to see very many pictures to support how they look and ride stance on the MINI
Full year later on my (custom) vmaxx setup. Still love them. Their ability to go low is their strongest feature IMO. Ride comfort is a bit stiff, but that's to be expected from driving a slammed car. I personally love the ride and you just can't beat the price.
At the same time, I can see why they wouldn't be for everybody. If you're looking for a smooth soft ride and aren't worried about slamming your car, there might be better options out there.
They aren't so good......I had VMaxx's on my VW Passat and they are cheap.....which is what you get. They ride nice for about 5K miles then they get really bouncy and ride like garbage. I sold mine and went to H&R Sports and Bilstein Struts. If you buy a new car and put cheap suspension on it you deserve to be kicked.

Reason: Cleaned up.
They will probably get really bouncy after 5k miles of railing potholes with 3/4" of travel.
Ive got almost 10k now on mine (on an R53) and they are as good as the day I put them on. They have a nice 2 year warranty as well, so if you do blow one out, give them a call and get a new set.
I sold mine and went to H&R Sports and Bilstein Struts.!
H&R + Bilsteins on a MINI is gonna be just as bouncy if not more so. Our cars are so limited on travel that lowering springs on aftermarket struts just leaves you literally riding on bumpstops 24/7.
