I look forward to posting my impressions once the components are installed. I think the suspension components are going to be a great birthday present to myself.

Anxiously awaiting delivery!
Very cool and happy B-Day.

nobody has been able to run them on the street yet because they always break before being installed. *waves to Adam* </sarcasm>

I've got a set sitting on my front porch. I'm not gonna be able to add much helpful info though because they are being used on my custom suspension which is much different than any other MINI suspension setup.

I can say that the shipping was incredibly quick and that these things look SHORT which should be pretty good for those that want a slammed ride. Stratmosphere said that they'd be sending me out some shorter front sway end links sometime soon as they've determined that it's necessary for those that want to really lower their car.

Good luck with your 'bags, Andrew!

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how livable the V-Maxx's are.

That's what I figured. I just got done installing them. They seem like really nice pieces. They mentioned that they will be sending out shorter end links....but I don't see too much of a problem. The sway bar attachment location is the same as the old coilovers which had no problems going low.

They just happen to work with the bags a bit better than the previous coilover selection too

Good to hear! I look forward to hearing your driving impressions. How is your uber-dumped Clubby doing anyway?

Pics wouldn't help you.....I'm still on airride. I left the VMAXX springs and stuff in the box.

I just put 1,500 miles on them over the past week driving to h2o......(with airride) the front struts rode perfectly well. Very comfortable.

VMAXX Installed

I recently was able to have the VMAXX coilovers, Alta 22mm Sway bar, Hsport rear control arms, and M7 strut bar installed. A few things were needed to complete the install of the coilovers. The front springs have a larger circumference than stock and required 15mm wheel spacers to clear the stock crown spoke wheels. Also adjustable end links were necessary to lower the car. I recently purchased BBS RGR's with an offset of 38 and I may be able to reduce the spacers to 10mm.

As far as the ride it is only slightly more stiff than the stock sport suspension that originally was on the car. I do not have experience with other coilovers but according to Waylen at Way Motor Works who completed the install- the VMAXX are slightly stiffer than the H & R street coilovers. The car now corners extremely flat and torque steer when accelerating through corners especially on uneven pavement is drasticly reduced.

I also would like to thank Waylen for the install who was very patient with the install of a new product and did a great job on the install.

Can you expand on why adjustable endlinks are needed? I've been curious about the need for them.

I've put 1600 miles on my vmaxx's so far with stock end links and had no issues I would like to get some endlinks if they are necessary for proper geometry though

You guys seem pretty pleased with the Vmaxx so far. How low are you running them? I keep considering these, the new TSW springs, and the KW v1s.

From what Waylen told me the stock front endlinks were hitting on the suspension. I think he said on the control arm but don't quote me on that. I remain happy with the VMAXX for the cost. I am running rather low with these. I believe the wheel arches are at about 24 inches. I will try to post some pics over the weekend. Now that I have put some more miles on the coilovers I can say that they are stiffer than the stock sport suspension on the larger bumps. I am hoping elimination of the run flats will improve the ride and keep the same lowered look.

Hmmm interesting. Mine hit the control arms.....but only when they are up on the jack stands with the wheels hanging down in the air. Once you lower the car back onto the ground and the suspension goes into it's normal position it shouldn't interfere at all.....unless our suspension is a little different.

Waylen put the stock wheels on without spacers and the wheels would not turn at all. So I am pretty sure no matter what wheel you are running you will need a spacer. Size of spacer will depend on offset of wheels.

Not exactly.....just because some stock wheels needed spacers doesn't mean ALL wheels (aftermarket or stock) need spacers. Running a spacer is just like running a lower offset wheel, so if your current wheels fit with spacers, wheels of the same size with a lower offset would fit just fine without spacers. There's no way ALL wheels will need spacers.

My stock wheels 15x5.5 et45 had no rubbing issues, and my current wheels, 16x7 et33, have no rubbing issues. You just have to stay away from super high offset wheels(but you should do that anyways because high offset wheels are gross )

I think I'm getting a set for my R50 very soon also.

And for the endlinks, the V-maxx site says you need to run non oem ones if you are going lower than 40mm. And says that some applications may need wheel spacers, but not all like Rally said.
