Suspension Stratosphere VMAXX?
They will probably get really bouncy after 5k miles of railing potholes with 3/4" of travel.
Ive got almost 10k now on mine (on an R53) and they are as good as the day I put them on. They have a nice 2 year warranty as well, so if you do blow one out, give them a call and get a new set.

Well here it is... I Put them on my car at 900 miles and I'm rolling to about 13k, 5 auto-x days and a road rally plus one 2600 mile trip down south and 7 runs thru the Tail of the Dragon on my way back up north and my verdict is:
There OK...
Pretty stiff, not bouncy at all yet , But enough to get annoying sometimes espically living around a urban area...But Being decently low its my own fault i know
I had FK Silverlines on my 03 VW GTI on the last threads and I Still think it rode better.. but that might be due to the heavier car or longer wheel base..
So far for what I paid for them and there excellent service( Including them replacing my endlinks when the rubber boot failed)
So all in all you get what you pay, there not the $1600 set I used to own but there not bad!

MLK freedom from wheelgap weekend sale???
We've installed these and sometimes you'll need a set of front wheel spacers to get the tire to clear the springs. Just make sure you figure that when you think of the cost. Also don't forget some adjustable rear control arms to adjust the rear camber.
Cool! I know I'll be using that for the torque specs at least...
I have had these fitted for about 2500 miles, ride is a little 'bouncy' but the look is great. The problem I am having is drivetrain vibration which gets noticeably worse when braking. I had the dealer check brakes etc but they say the 5mm H&R spacers are causing the vibration. I need the spacers with my stock JCW wheels because of tire deflection under hard cornering causes the tires to contact the adjustment collars on these coilovers. Has anybody else here had vibration issues with these coilovers and wheel spacers? I am bemused and a little frustrated because my Mini looks great but drives like crap!!

Vibration
I was running real low with the wheels in the arches but I raised it up so there is around one finger clearance under the arches. The dealer say they ran the car without spacers on a short test drive and the vibe went away?? I am going to try and repeat their test. The dealer says the spacers are not centering the wheel correctly- my response -********, The wheel bolts are 'coned' on the back side to centre the wheel when tightening.

Ahh..... the debacles of the "crazy tuck" MINI.

I've had my V-maxx for about 3 months and I'm really happy with them. The ride is stiff, but I'm used to lowered aircooled VW's, so to me it rides like a Cadillac
I needed 5mm spacers to clear the front.
Anyone else care to chime in regarding experiences with "clunking" noises caused by improper seating? Had a set of coilovers on a Miata that had that problem and it about drove me nuts until I replaced the stock upper mounts with aftermarket pillowball units.
I don't plan on going super-low, just want to dispense with some of the wheel gap. Wouldn't mind a slightly-sportier-than-stock ride and performance, but noise is a deal-breaker. I don't think I could handle the combination of clunking and listening to my wife complaining about same.

just got mine on about an hour ago.... ive got a pretty pronounced 'clunk' in the rear... When they are as low as ive got them there isnt much initial spring compression so i figure the springs might shift around, as the sound mainly comes when the suspension 'drops' after a bump....
i may raise the rear a tad and see if the added compression helps matters.
other than that the ebrake lines are less than 1/4" from the arms and might hit, but that would be on the compression stroke, not the recoil...
Car looks sick and drives well, but sucks I got all the noise, like others.

I don't see how TSW tuned KW coilovers are even an equal comparison to VMAXX. TSW KWs are all about performance whereas VMAXX are more about looks.
