KW V1 coilovers and 5mm spacer

I'm about to purchase a set of KW V1 coilovers and was just wondering if any one knows if the stock 17" Flame wheels will fit w/o spacers. I just want to find out before I install them and them find out they need spacers. Thanks

Based on others having stock wheels with KW V1 and needing 5mm spacers, you probably will too. I don't have 1st hand experience [yet] with these coilovers, so take this advice with a grain of salt. When you get the coilovers in your hand though, you can do some measuring before installation to see if you'll have interference compared to the stock struts.

Let us know what you find!

I found this info on the web...
benzamg

R97 Flame-spoke ET48 22.0lb (10.0kg)

So, is it safe to assume that if someone is using aftermarket wheels with an offest below 40 that they would NOT need spacers?

I *think it depends on the wheel width and a bit on the tire you are using too. someone correct me if this is wrong please.

at any rate you would be best getting a measuring tape and seeing where everything will sit unless you can do a test fit.

This is exactly the type of info I was looking for. This is definitely cheaper than the lowest price I could get... Thanks a lot!
