Just Installed PSS9 now car shakes!!

Hi

i just installed my PSS9 kit to my MCS 06 actually my local suspension specialist did. Soon as i left the shop i was driving home and half way there the steering wheel starts to shake under hard acceleration, mainly in 2nd and 3rd but also shakes badly after you hit 100km/h an over. can anyone help me?? i rung my installer they said they did a full wheel aligned the car. has anyone else had this problem. The system is set to the lowest hight adjustment and i am runniing 9f9r but also if i stiffen the suspension it gets a little worse ie 6f7r.

thanks hope to hear from you guys soon

raise the car up to correct driveshaft angles. at 1" lower than stock on PSS9's, my car felt perfect...no vibrations.

This happens with worn in drive shafts, it will get less if the drive shafts get worn in under their new angle. I had problems with it with my Leda suspension. Now I also have the PSS9 and have set them about 1/2 inch above the lowest point and no problems. But that is because my drive shafts already were worn in under the same angle with the Leda set. And I even run 1,5 neg. degrees camber.

There are tricks to overcome this problem but they are not nice (lengthen the drive shaft with metal rings and put the engine with gearbox higher up by putting spacers under the engine mounts).

Check your wheels. You might have hit a pothole. Happened to me. Took out my suspension and a couple of rims.

I am running Dan, PGTs actual PSS9s on my car now, bought them when he switched to Cross coilovers. My car too is fine running 1" lower than stock. Try raising the car a bit. If you are getting shake under power, that sounds likely to be a drive shaft issue.
