and a to Vinyl Styles wrapping for the de-chroming.

Drewster,

Who installed your springs?

I live in SF and really don't know a shop that works on Mini's besides the dealer...also how much did it cost?

Thx,

- GP

not sure if you're asking me since I posted last but i'm running 17's but if you scan through this thread you will see that some with 16's have installed the springs as well. Here's one: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...4&postcount=86

Iam pretty sure they 40mm offset..

I'm running 215/45/17 tires on 17x7" 40mm offset konig feathers and my front tires do rub on the inside wheel well liner, theres two spots towards the outside of the wheel on the driver side, and one spot on the inside of the passenger side wheel well. Its not too bad as of now, but I've only been running these wheels/tires for a month, so we will see if it eventually rubs through or not =\

Go with 215/40-17. It is closer in height to a 205/45-17 and will fit better.

BostonR56S when you rub is on normal driving over bumps and corners
sorry for extremely late reply.
its on bumps/corners, not normal flat road driving. its really not THAT bad. If I were you i'd use up the rest of your existing tires and then go for 205 on the next one. It depends on the offset of your wheels too. Mine are et40, so they are pretty flush with the outside fender.

No rubbing here, but god the ride is horrrrrrible on Mach V's...maybe the stock shocks are shot but its horrible.

Ask Jan how uncomfortable my car is driving on the streets of LA ...got a few F-bombs outta him haha
