Speedometer rattle

I get an intermittant rattle right in the area of the speedometer. I can get it to stop if I push and hold the gray plastic ring aroung the speedometer. Anyone have this problem or know of a permanent fix?

Don’t have the problem. Is it the plastic ring around the glass that makes it rattle or is it coming from inside the unit when you hold it?

I have a rattle in the dash area!
It's definitely on the drivers side. It sounds like it's to the left of the sterreing wheel but it coul even be the speedo?
Has anyone had a rattle in that area????
