Black fluid leaking!

Its not oil and its close to the shock tower bracket, what is it?

it's the fluid from inside your engine mount. it's broken and needs to be replaced. you should have no problem getting it replaced under warranty.

You probably didn't need to have your Mini towed to the dealer though. It would have been safe to drive it over, without the risk of the tow operator damaging your Mini.

Yeah I coule have driven it but its 45 minutes away, I work 3rd shift and I was tired!
