what spark plugs would you use in a 03mcs with a 15% pulley and an alta cai. i know it's not a lot of mods just want to know if anyone has used a colder plug and how did it perform.

After reading about recent spark plug issues, I'd get the ones that stay screwed into the heads. IK22's seem to have a bad reputation. If you haven't already read this thread, you may wish to.......

Looks great, love the stripe. Have you considered going all the way to the ground with it?

Go with the stock ones from the dealer. I bought the IK22's and they made the car sluggish. It's get-up and go, got-up and went. So I bought some brand new OEM's and back to zippin along. Oh and I have a 17% pulley, CAI, and one ball with no pinging. Pulls hard, right to redline

Not to seal your thread here, but 7hrs! I am thinking about doing that to my PW/B MCS. My biggest question is how did you manage to get the strips through the letters?

I put the IK22's in when I did the Webb pulley, per the recommendation of Randy and Brian. I have actually noticed a positive effect and increased power along with gas mileage since the change.

I guess there may be varying factors at work...

The one thing I have learned is that every MINI is different, they all have different personalties.

predmini you take the emblems off they are only held on with double face tape. just be careful not to break them.
