JCW Intake Intall questions

I'm expecting my JCW CAI to be on my front porch today. I have scanned NAM for all posts concerning this install. I have a few unanswered questions.

Removing the old box, I have not seen much on this. It appears you need to remove the ECU? Is this difficult?

The White/Red wire quandary? Is it a white wire with red stripe or a Red wire with white stripe? I'm assuming the White with red stripe.

Thanks

ECU just pulls out of the plastic cavity. Just leave it in until you are ready to swap it, you don't want it laying around or dropping it .

Installed but no workie.
I followed steps fond later on today.
I don;t think it is the slice because I would assume if that wire was cut it would through a CEL. As far as the red wire I found good instructions and followed them. The Vacuum line is tight but hooked up.

I guess tomorrow I'll dig around a bit more.

FIXED IT!!

The solenoid came unattached from the flapper. I should have inspected a little better.

Thanks to Greatbear and everyone else for some good posting and advice!
