Egads... I just put 13.4 gallons in.... The OBC said I had 20 miles left (after some aggressive driving.) Granted, I filled it to the brim......

What's the most gas you've put into your mini?

47 litres. That's only about 12.7 US gallons. I thought I was getting low, but looks like I still had a bit left. Cost me $61 though!!!! $61 to fill a Mini? I'm glad I don't still have my F-250 with it's two tanks and 460cu. V-8!!!

Glad to hear that someone has put in 14.5... I was wondering what the filler-neck/plumbing would hold. Based on that, I guess I really did have 20 miles before the lights went out! :-)

14.7 and yes, I let it go empty and that was not intentional. What a bonehead.

Now I'm a bit confused by this. I thought they had 13.2 gallon tanks. How does one put 14.7 gallons in a 13.2 gallon container? The most I've put in was 12.8 gallons.

14 plus for me too.
I lost the zero and hyphens (----) appeared.
Would you believe I was cruising for the cheapest price?

I saw Days of Thunder the other day, they were talking about putting in a fuel line that held more gas than other cars, that could be part of it.

The line from the tank to the cap AND the line from the tank to the engine, gives credit to the "running on fumes" saying.

14.5 . Was this a normal fill or did you keep topping it off? I thought I was pushing it at 13.5, but now there is a whole new level to reach.

There is like 1.5 gallons for the reserve tank. Also, the fuel in the lines, and the collar or filler tube or what ever you wanna call it. I have put about 14.7. That was about 40 bucks.

Nice to know there is a bit more in there for reserve. I won't be telling Mrs Crashton though. She has running on fumes down to an art form & I don't want to encourage her.

Most gas I ever put into my Mini. Hmmm.

Well, that would be the time that two friends and I had had barbecue, complete with beans and cole slaw, about 6 hours before we started the ride back home. I took a tight turn a little faster than I should have, and we all cut loose. I'd say 15 cubic feet after it decompressed.
