My 2002 MCS is now a week old to me, but it's already time to mod. What's the best bang for my buck? I'm looking at either the ALTA intake or ALTA SC pulley.
Was leaning towards the intake just because my filter looks like it could use replacing anyway.
Edit: Arg thought I was still in the Drivetrain performance forum....move please :(

The SC Pulley will give you the most HP for the buck. But you have to remove the Intake to install it, so most people add them at the same time. it all depends on how much money you have to spend at one time. give me a call if you need more advice.

I am in the NJ area and looking for some clubs/groups to be apart of. I will have to check out the club! But onto the post, intake is the first thing that can be done with out serious work. Most people do a pulley as well. This is something I will do soon as well. You might also want to look at exhaust and even ECU tuning i.e. MTH.

The thing deterring me from exhaust at the moment is the hefty price tag. I'm not use to a simple catback costing upwards of $700 when on all my old cars they were around $300.
So I'll start with some cheaper gains first, and eventually move to exhaust

I went with a scorpion exhaust that only set me back 550. I love it to death and the sound is really nice.
