P0107
P0108

?? You think this would be a wiring harness, throttle body, or throttle position sensor problem??

P0107 manifold absolute pressure / barometric pressure circuit circuit low input
P0108 manifold absolute pressure / barometric pressure circuit circuit high input

Check your T-MAP sensor near the electronic throttle valve housing.

It won't do you much good to just get the code number translated. The code will tell you which diagnostic tree to follow. You will then need a manual to folow the proper diagnostic procedure. This will tell you why that part is providing a signal to the computer that is outside of the expected parameters. This MAY be due to the part being defective, but it may also be caused by many, many, other things. Codes mean very little by themselves. You must follow the diagnostic procedure or you will just end up "throwing parts at a problem" and hoping to get lucky. That is fine if you are a dealership mechanic that gets paid for replacing parts and the factory is paying for the parts, but dosen't work very well for actually correcting a problem.

I know... I just needed to know whether I had a vacuum leak or a mechanical error. Now I just gotta track it down.

If you have altered your throttle body or added something like the AGS, you could throw this code. This is one in a series of non-generic ("P1" instead of "P0") codes relating to the drive-by-wire throttle system. Early versions of the AGS came with an extension cable to connect the relocated throttle body to the engine harness. Some of these cables have been defective or intermittent.

Jason,
Mini replaced the bypass valve, in the stock car that I have, after that code popped up. I don't know if that was actually the problem, but that's what they did.

Edit: p1689 was programmnin. p1688 was bypass valve.

P1109 just popped up for me over the weekend. Any Idea on a fix?

Doesn't look like a popular code around here.
