Pull the spark plugs and inspect. Does the inspection suggest engine is running rich? Post pictures.

You mention the plugs and coils are new. Post brands, types, and plug gaps.

If you can't reliably verify the age of the spark plugs and coils, it would be wise to simply replace them and then go from there.

i work with the guy i purchased it from and he purchased the plugs and coils in April and the car never was driven other than onto a trailer to bring to my house so i do know for a fact they are new but knowing the guy it was probably the cheapest stuff he could get for the car off rock auto

If I thought that the plugs and coils were cheap aftermarket parts, I would replace them in a NY minute.

And the refurbished head looks great. I'm looking forward to you solving the misfire issue, and the smooth running engine puts a smile on your face.

what brand plugs would you recommend im kinda tight on funds at the moment so i will get plugs first and then coils if need be. Being a body man I did a custom job on the outside to gift to my 16 year old daughter but definitely wish I would’ve got running right before that🤣 and yes the smooth running engine will definitely put a smile on my face and my daughters aswell cuz i will stop telling her she has to stay home so i can work on her car🤣

Wow, looks great! Your daughter will love it.

I'm an NGK spark plug fan, but they are pricey. Others may be able to guide you to good but less pricey alternatives.

You may want to swap fuel injector 1 with one of the other fuel injectors to see if the misfire fault code follows injector 1.

The black soot on all 4 spark plugs suggests a rich condition or that all four cylinders are experiencing misfires. Curious.

Did spark plug 1 look more sooty or different in any way from the other 3 plugs?
