Manual Mode- 2014 R55 S shifter issues
Hey there,
I always have and do use manual mode in my R55 S, typically on the shifter but sometimes on the paddles. Last month, I accidentally slammed the shifter between the manual mode and regular drive mode. Since then, the shifter has been more sensitive to shift (barely needing to tap the stick to shift up). Sometimes this causes the transmission to shift up 2 gears. Sometimes when the selector decides to shift twice, it locks out any shifts for a little bit... causing me to hold third gear for way too long as it will not upshift with either the stick or paddles when that happens.
I found a way around it, by downshifting and then shifting up, allowing the shift to happen normally, or jamming the stick down to the right a bit to tell the shifter that I am upshifting.
I feel as if there is a sensor that has been knocked out of alignment... Is this a thing inside of the shifter housing?
