After oil change, get code 3401 engine oil pressure control valve activation
OK. Hopefully, some can provide some insight here
Just completed an oil change - and a couple unrelated repairs: new turbo diverter valve and mended auxiliary water pump harness (both of these are fine) -- cleared my old codes, drove it around the neighborhood a little. Turned the car on and off, to see if any codes remained and a new code popped up: code 3401, “engine oil pressure control valve activation: Line disconnection". Any reason why that would come up after an oil change? Is it possible that it is a temporary thing and it will go away? Not having any problem with oil pressure or anything else. Hopefully it is not a failing oil pump all of sudden.
Anyone have any thoughts, experience or insights into this?
Thanks!
