2885 Code After Oil Overfill

I've been trying to figure out why my '12 R56 JCW keeps throwing the 2885 code (Charging pressure control deviation, plausibility). I've tried pretty much everything I've read in these forums with no success I remembered when the code first appeared it was immediately after I did an oil chance a couple months ago. I accidentally overfilled the oil by 1/2 to 3/4 of a quart. I drive the car a few miles and the CEL came on with the 2885 code. I drained the oil to the proper level and reset the codes but it now continues to reappear during hard acceleration. Is there any way these could be related? Could some oil have made its way to the cat and that is the source of my problem? Or maybe the PCV system? Any suggestions?

It could be entirely coincidental. That code usually pops up because there is a leak in the charge tubing somewhere, or the diverted valve is going out. Did you remove any piping for your oil change?have you pulled and checked the diverted valve diaphragm?

Thanks. I have replaced the diverter valve and have visually checked all of the piping for leaks with nothing found.
