so I've got that code, position timing over retarded, I know. but then i'm about a 1/2 quart low on Oil and I noticed a little odd staining on the left side of the block. and then a TINY TINY bit of yellow-ish moisture buildup in the top of the filler cap (only) Could this be a sign of a bad gasket somewhere? Or unrelated issues?

Well. Local shop couldn't find anything related to the code so the cleared it, Oil leak was the crankshaft seal so they fixed that. Maybe oil just got into a sensor or something.
I plan on doing an oil analysis though in the next month or so, just for the heck of it.

 

code came back.. Might go to the dealer this time. I dunno.
