IHKA control panel not responding

Since a few weeks I’m searching the internet to find a solution for my IHKA control panel issue in my Mini Cooper S from 2007

Problem description:

All of a sudden my IHKA control pannel (latest generation in a MINI R52 without the “OFF” button so with the internal diagnosis functionality) stopped working and is not reacting on any commands or the display is not showing anything (only the backlight is working when I switch on my headlights). Problem seems to be started when I connected an iPhone to the AUX port of the standard radio but I doubt my issue is linked to this.

What have been done till now :
  • All fuses have been checked (double-checked) and all are OK
  • Checked the voltage on the IHKA connector
    • PIN 3 (towards heater relay and fuse F31) : 12V
    • PIN 2 : 11,6 V (towards blower motor & blower output stage)
    • PIN 9 (Towards fuse F30) : +/- 5V
    • PIN 16 (Computter data line system) : 11,6 V
  • Bypassed the blower output stage resistor (hedgehog resistor) and the blower motor is working
  • Removed/disconnected the AUX and CD cable on my standard radio (Harman Kardon)
  • Disconnected/removed the NAV DVD player (as I don’t have the original NAV DVD so the GPS was not usefull)
  • Checked the computer data line cable between IHKA & BC1 : connectivity is OK
  • Replaced the IHKA module & switch panel with 2 other second hand panels without success, heating is still not working
  • Bought the Launch Creader Elite scan tool but the IHKA module is not detected or reachable (all other modules are detected and I can do some function tests) (see my latest report below & attached some screenshots)

Currently I’m thinking of buying NCS expert, NCS dummy, INPA or ISTA+ software but I’m not sure if this will be very helpful in solving my issue. Does anyone have any ideas to guide me in the correct direction?
