Are those things flimsy or what? I even knew that they were flimsy, and so I was taking special care. Rediculous. Good thing I'm not a smoker!

Hmm... covered under warantee?

i broke mine too! don't feel bad! i fixed it with some super glue! :smile:

I use mine as a coin cup and the lid broke as well. As I found wiht more then half of the things wrong with my Mini "That part is on backorder". It has been on backorder for over a month now!

I wanted the cup holder under it more than I did the ashtray/coin holder...mine is sitting safe and sound in the garage...just in case I eat my spinach!

The hinge thingy broke on my ashtray/coin holder.

I fixed it with a paperclip.

Solid engineering on my part!

OK, but really. How many of you were attempting the acting out of the 'How to Motor in a MINI' diagram, when this breakage ocurred? Come now...............be honest. Remember, you're under MINI-oath while on this site.
