High boost

I have a 2006 r53 and recently had 15% pully, RMW header and milltek exhaust installed. Did a track weekend and every time I went out and was at wot my dsc light would come on. The last time out the dsc came on and the engine light came on. The code was po108( absolute manifold pressure high). I thought that it was my tmap sensor and I replaced it.

Some how after the pulley, header and exhaust I’m hitting 17-18lbs of boost. after I changed the tmap Sensor I took my car out on the hwy at 6am when almost no one was on the road and took it up to 130 mph for about 2 miles and no lights came on but I’m still hitting 17-18 lbs of boost at wot. It was my understanding that I shouldn’t get more then 15lbs boost with a 15%pulley. Does any have any idea why my boost is so high?

I was getting 17-18psi boost with my '04 R53 with 15% pulley....I think you are in the ballpark

I put a 17% pulley on my '06 R52 JCW car.....have not really tested it out yet, need to get a boost gauge installed

Our previous R53 had similar mods and also ran 17+/-1psi boost at WOT depending on air temp. Enjoy the ride!

Maybe you supercharge is tighter than normal? What were you getting for boost before the pully change?
