Drivers side axle will not budge

2006 R52 Aisin Automatic Trans 192,000 miles
This drivers side axle is the toughest Ive ever seen.
Ive tried:
prying until I thought the bar would break
Pulling it off with a slide hammer and a vice grip
air hammer
banging on the end of it with a sledge
NOTHING. Is this trans different? Is there a retaining ring like the manual trans?
ANY HELP OUT THERE? Need advice Fast!

I had a similar issue with my drivers axle, until I tried this tool:
Amazon Amazon

The automatic axle has a retaining clip

That isn't a traditional pickle fork, its much thinner and designed specifically for popping axles. It comes with two forks, and one is tapered. The tapered one will pop that axles out like butter.

The frame is in the way. I dont think it will go in because theres not straight access, kind of tilted on a 2006 I could barely get a crow bar in there

The forks you recommended came today, as I suspected I couldnt get either one behind that dam cup portion thats still stuck in the tranny. Does it have to be in a certain gear? in Park? or?
the thing actually wiggles now, but wont budge. You must have a manual trans...........
Dam!

Should pop out with not much presure at all. There’s a ring on the axle that “snaps” in place.

Something is not right

the ring might be damaged

i wish I could help more

i got mine out with a pry bar

dont crack ur trans case

Yep, I realize that.
I believe the axle splines are "galled" onto the mating surface of the trans
Im going to try to punch it out from the passenger side
crossed fingers & prayer........

Careful with that idea. I think a member tried that about a month ago on here and fragged his differential.
