What to do? Pushing the fob buttons does nothing now.
Cannot lock the vehicle.

 

the car is a 2008 Clubman with every option. The driver's door handle has a button on it for "Comfort Access" . Of course it does not work either because the "Central locking, remote control" is maybe not receiving the signal from the fob. The central locking button on the center console (between the window switches) does lock and unlock the doors, when you are sitting in the driver's seat.
