Heater core always hot

Hi everyone, my R53 '06 doesn't shut off the hot water valve (if any) and my heater core is always hot. Is not blowing air, but is just hot enough to spread too much heat to my feet in a 30 minutes ride that feels uncomfortable.

Btw.. my MINI has automatic climate control, any ideas?

I believe that the core itself is always hot. The blend doors control whether the heat is directed towards the cabin or not. Not like most other vehicles that stop or start water flowing through the core by use of a valve. Weird...

So you hear the doors moving in the center console when you turn it on or move the controls? If not could be a bad controller. What year Mini do you have?

I do now hear them but they must actually move because air changes when I select outlets. R53 '06

Thank you all, I'll check the panels and try to fit some isolator like dynamite or something more heat focused
