Can you measure how far your clutch slave moves?

Can you measure how far your clutch slave moves so I can compare? maybe the distance of the clutch lever moves?

Can't shift when engine running. Can shift when engine off.

Replaced the slave after old one leaked.
Old one needed to be pressed very far down to shift.

New one moves in unison with entire travel of pedal.
Pedal is easy to move (I believe about the same as old one though I don't remember).
Seems like the system is completely bled.

I read there could be internal yoke or bushing problems and would like to verify that I am getting the correct distance travel.

Thanks in advance,
Andy
