Major Oil Leak that Caused Serpentine Belt to Come Off

Hi guys, I have an '04 R53 and on Sunday night, I was on the interstate and the serpentine belt came off in one piece. I installed a new serpentine belt to discover after driving that my car is draining oil everywhere I go, and there are oil lines following where I drove. There is oil covering mostly the entire bottom on the passenger side of the car and it spattered all over the passenger wheel well and on the back of the car. I know the leak is on the back of the motor, and I have completely degreased the area as best as I could. I'm lost as to where to look now. There was so much residue that even after nearly a whole can of engine degreaser, there's still residue in some spots! The car now is undrivable since i'd have to fill a quart after probably 20 miles at most. The leak seems to be in a high oil pressure area near the bottom of the engine, but I'm surprised that the engine has enough pressure to force oil out like it's water coming from a drinking fountain. Any suggestions regarding where I should look?

I would check the oil filter housing. It's possible that the gasket between the engine and housing failed.

There's an oil line and coolant line going into the oil cooler then into the oil filter housing on the back of the motor on the passenger side.

Leaning toward oil filter housing on instinct based on the colossal volume but you could always add UV dye to the oil (before adding your next 20-mile quart) and see for sure. Naturally you'll find other leaks as well, but you'll solve the big scary one right away.

Other possibilities. Change the oil recently? Check the filter cover, O-ring and pan drain bolt? Did someone overtorque the filter cover a tad and now it's cracked? Or undertorque and it's spun loose?
