Can anyone help me identify this sensor/connector

Hey everyone. Happy Wednesday. I wondering if someone here can help me identify this sensor. This is a new car (to me) and I'm still getting to know her. Recently when I was looking over the engine bay I noticed that this particular sensor wasn't even plugged in. On further inspection it is cracked and needs to be replaced. Is this maybe a heat sensor? Here are some pics that move from general location to very specific location.

Thanks in advance!

On the N12 engine (2007-2010 base model), this would be the oil pressure sensor. It is as seen, a one-wire plug.

Perfect! Thanks a lot. That will help me chase down a replacement connector.

Thanks for the link. Your response made me realized I needed to add one more detail. The piece that screws into the engine appears to be fine (though I'll probably replace it too). It's the connector on the wiring harness that is cracked. Do you have something for that?

Thanks again.

Brian.

Yep, thought it was the sensor side: 12527542850

and then is you need the new little metal taps, sometimes hard to get out. Pull that blue tab to the side and try to slide the pins out.

That looks like what I need. Mine is only a single wire though. Am I missing something?

Yep, in you pic you just use the ones side. You can see in that picture you posted, 2 pin socket but only one side has wire, i adjusted and but x 1 , sorry did not mean to put x 2 for the metal tab.

ECSTuning,

I got the plug and metal tab in and tried to install it, but it didn't match up with what was on my car. I've seen a few things that were cobbled together on this car so I'm guessing the one that was on there just wasn't the right one to begin with.

If you don't mind, would you give me a part numbers for the sensor, the plug to fit and the tabs as well? I'd like to order all three at once knowing for sure they'll all fit.

I'd appreciate it!

Thanks.
