Help with limp mode
Help with limp mode
I have changed the spark plugs I have changed the oil I have changed the Vanos Solenoid and I have change the camshaft sensors. If my car is cold when I started it goes into limp mode until I turn off the code but if it's hot no limp mode I need help what else should I try
From what I can find, it looks like that is a code for cold start fuel pressure. There is a good chance that your HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) is starting to go, it’s a known issue on these. Depending on your mileage, you may very well be covered by a warranty extension from MINIUSA for it. If so, a huge plus! They have extended it out to 100,000 or 120,000 miles.
Go on the website for Miniusa and there is a section where you can enter your VIN and it will tell you which warranty extensions you are covered for.
