No gears, due to cv axle

End of cv axle into trans
i was driving today and turn a corner and heard a pop then had no gears. Last weekend I replaced the driver lca bushing with poly I don’t think I put the cv axle all the way in cause now it won’t stay locked in meaning the axle pulls out easy. Could this be the problem?

When comparing a photo of a new axle input-shaft end to yours which is stripped at the end, I'd say yes...

Well replaced it with a oem cv axle and all is good. Lesson learned-make sure you get the shaft all the way in, if not it will come out. Lucky I just damaged the axle and not the tranny. One good thing is I found a mini heaven close to my house! parts for days.

Hey, I’m in Joshua. Where is this Mini heaven, if you don’t mind saying?
