Advice to fix shifter free play?

My shifter has increased side-to-slide free play (please see video). Wondering if anyone knows which part I need to replace to fix this?

Your video didn't make it!

Take a look at the linkage on top of your tranny, one of the bushings may be loose.

Aww shucks, not sure why I can’t upload from my phone.

It seemed to get progressively worse, and the side to side free play is around 1 inch. Possible that it is a loose bushing?

Year and make of your MINI? Enter the last 7 of your VIN at real oem (all one word) .com to get your specific part number. Select "gearshift" icon.

When I changed my clutch, I also changed the shifter box; the car shifts like it was brand new. You need item 1. You have to drop the exhaust to change it.
