Headrest error PLEASE HELP

Headrest error PLEASE HELP

I have been trying to figure this out forever. I have an r52 and the headrest is WACK. here are some pictures


After I removed back cover

Isn’t even lined up with holes anymore

The way it’s literally poking iut. Look and compare with passenger

Compare to passenger seat

please help me :(

Wish I could tell you what’s wrong, but obviously something like a screw, bolt or rivet has come loose. Try comparing the passenger side to the drivers side to determine where the failure is. Hopefully someone else here will be of help soon.

It looks like the headrest got pulled backwards and bent the tubes. The left side tube looks more out of place then the right. You can see where the foam has either torned or been compressed.

As a temporary fix you could try repositioning the headrest tubes both at the top and botttom. You can insert the headrest and adjust the angle to match the tilt on the passanger headrest. Once you are happy then use some high denisty foam to fill in the extra space. It should prevent them from moving while giving uou some padding.
