Dome light not working properly

I think this has been an issue since I recently got this 2005 R53.

Middle interior dome light is usually always off. If I screw around with it a little, I can get it to come on when I unlock the car and go off when I lock the car (with fob), but then it stays on way too long and doesn't seem to ever go off if I don't lock the car (just close the doors) while the footwell lights do go off as they should.

I've read threads with similar problem, but can't seem to fix mine.

If I hold the middle button on the dome light for about 5 seconds, the foot well lights cycle on/off indicating I want to fix this. Is the middle dome light supposed to cycle also? This does not fix my problem.

Ultimately, the problem is, if I don't lock the car with the remote, the dome light will stay on and never go out.

I don't think I screwed anything up while coding, but attached is my FSW_PSW.MAN file.

I keep thinking the signal wire from BC1 that controls the dome light may have bad connection. But since I can get the dome light to work (both on and off) when using the key fob, it seems like it's controllable.

Just don't know why the car will not turn the dome light off on it's own at the same time it turns off the foot well lights and rear boot light??? It will stay on even when driving. If I lock car with fob, it will go off.

I'm not an expert at reading schematics, but in this image, it seems like there is power to the 2 dome light switches that maybe the BC can turn off? If I use those 2 buttons, I can get the dome light on and it stays on forever until I lock the car with the fob.

What's #4? I was assuming it's the same 2 lights as #2 and #3, except controlled by the car? One schematic calls it brown/yellow. Maybe this wire isn't doing anything and I'm being fooled by the power being cut to the mechanical switches when the car is locked by fob?

The other schematic calls that wire BR/GE.
