Can anyone tell me if this is a radiator hose or a heater hose?

I need to replace asap but not sure if I need a radiator hose or a heater hose, it's on the right side of the engine block pretty much directly under the supercharger

That hose is a radiator house, it looks like its one of the high points in the system since there is a bleed screw on the coupler.

should be part 9

I think so, I will have to go look on my car, when I get home. I only used diagrams that I could find to determine which one it was, but I am pretty sure its that one.

M only concern is it isn't long and lanky like the radiator hose looks in pictures it's short and kind of thick

I think I finally got my bearings. In the second picture that is the valve cover to the left and the air cleaner box to the right correct? That also appears to be the second bleeder screw in the first picture. The problem is I cannot find the bleeder fitting in the RealOEM schematics. I think that hose may come of the t-stat housing,

OK, I believe it is hose # 4 in the below schematic link. OEM Part #11537509199 and connects to the water pump

you were correct thanks so much! So I ended up asking the guy I sold my recently deceased mini to (he's building a new engine for it) and he let me have the piece from that engine so I have it, now my issue is holy crap I can't get to the clamp closest to the pump 😩 And i ran that test on my engine block, no cracked head gasket 😅 So I'm hoping this hose and a thermostat maybe are why my coolant is disappearing mysteriously

The end closest to the radiator will not come loose I'm almost certain the clamp is all the way

Need to put a screwdriver between the hose and the metal collar to loosen it up. The lower clamp is a PIA to remove unless you have the special tool for the euro type clamps.

One you get the lower clamp up higher, cut the hose vertically from the bottom up. When was the water pump replaced???

ended up having to cut it but finally came off, taking a break then gonna attempt to get the new one on. I've owned this car just shy of a year and I haven't replaced the water pump at all, can't say when the last owner did I probably should have asked when all components were serviced last. did come with some oil change and other parts paperwork though

ALso had to take the top of the supercharger off and there was a tad bit of why I think is antifreeze in it, is that something I should be alarmed if? Mind you I have probably put a little too much antifreeze in the last few days trying to save it from over heating

It was the same color as my antifreeze. There's some wear/cracking in the rubber parts that seperate it so I'm thinking maybe it got sucked in with some air? Or maybe that's not a thing idk I don't like the sight of fluid anywhere it shouldn't be. The hose went on without as much issue as getting it off so that's a plus! gonna change the spark plug wires next hopefully that helps the misfire which it is still doing even though the check engine light went off

P0301 cyl 1 misfire & P0313 misfire w/ low fuel

i changed the spark plugs the coil pack and did an engine block test along with finding and changing about 4 badly busted hoses within the intercooling system over the last 3 days, after changing the spark plugs and coil pack the light went off instantly, but it's still misfiring. after driving for about ten minutes the misfire will go away and won't come back until the car has sat for a few hours

ok update, flushed and tried to burp the radiator before putting the front end back on and there's no antifreeze circulating into the radiator? I don't see any fluid whatsoever passing through, could it be the thermostat? I was sure that corroded bypass hose was the issue

False alarm 🤣 I didn't let it run long enough for the thermostat to open up, it did and the fluids circulating properly 😌 I wonder if maybe even that corroded bypass hose could have caused the misfire? Or the coolant in the supercharger? 🤔

IMO coolant in the supercharger duct or the intercooler is not good.
