I got my clutch (valeo clutch conversion kit) replaced less than 5k ago. my clutch pedal doesn't feel like it goes down smooth when I push it in. It feels notchy kinda like when I push it in it feels rough. The car shifts fine throughout the gears but the clutch pedal is the problem. I recently replaced driver's side axle and after replaced, clutch pedal felt normal as when clutch was replaced but it went only few days and turned out to be rough again.
I also replaced slave cylinder but no difference. plus, clutch pedal makes squeaky noise when i release the clutch pedal slowly.
Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?
Most likely a worn guide tube and throw out bearing.
I agree likely a worn guide tube. It does not take much of roughness between the guide tube and the release bearing to make the pedal feel sticky as the pressure plate spring force is so low. Did OP inspected before reuse the guide tube? And if so did you properly lubricate it with the provided grease after cleaning off any grime?
In theory a worn master cylinder can also cause this, just to cover all bases.
To not risk taking the drivetrain out in check the clutch, you can try exercise the clutch with you hand using a long lever like I did. The action should be smooth. This remove the hydraulic variables.
