Chain tensioner

I have a mini cooper r56. I installed the chain tensioner and when I went to start it did not start and an exclamation point appeared on the board. Why will not it start now??? Please someone help me!!!!!

S or non s. Where're you located.

Check your work again. Maybe missed a wire or plug.

Also verify that the car did not loose timing. Finally, rotate engine by hand clockwise to check movement and timing.

did you get a chance to recheck your work to see if anything is missing/not connected?

did you recheck the timing?
