jerky downshift 2nd to 1st gear automatic transmission

06 mini cooper s with aisin automatic transmission. had been experiencing a some harsh downshifting when slowing down to a stop with/without breaking. even without breaking, when the car slowing down by itself, it feels like i pushed on the break pedal suddenly when the car shift from 3rd to 2nd, from 2nd 1st. and the tachometer show the engine speed jumps.
i'm wondering if this is common.

Wow, that's crazy low mileage for a 1st gen! Did the shifting change any after the fluid change? Did you do a 2.5qt drain/fill or a "flush" of more than that? Do you have sport mode? Is it the same in normal/sport?

i went to mini specialist shop and they just drained oil and saw that oil color was almost black and they also mentioned that it smells burn as well.
after i changed fluid, i think it's way better than before but some jerk when downshift from 2nd to 1st gear, when i tried to stop to stop sign or signal. i'm not sure if it's normal or not.

In sport/manual mode you can force it to start in 1st (and stay out of 6th)
