I lost my tach and speedo and abs and parking brake went on I rewired everything to the best of my knowledge and its back on.. but I want to make sure I did the right thing..

I downloaded the electrical manual from this site somewhere so search for that. It should have a pinout of the BCM (Body Control Module) which I guess is what you are looking for

This is the module on passenger side (USDM) footwell? All I can remember from diagrams that first color is main color of wire and the second is the color of the stripe (or dashes?). Maybe the diagram changed between 2003 and 2006? :(

PM me your VIN, at least the last 7. ill send you the colors for the X15 connector (BMW code). I have a 2002, 2003, 2004 and 06, but pending options, the number of wires in the harness changes.

I have a 2002, 2003, 2006, 2009, and 2011. each harness will be a little different depending on the options

you can butt-plug them all together, the wires going in match the wires going out this is a common problem due to the sunroof drains clogging

a better solution is go to a junkyard and cut out the connector and soldier in the new connector ends properly.

both get the job done. Watch out there are some wires that are the same color codes but have a bigger or smaller diameter, you have to match not just the colors but also the diameter of the wire. Off top of my head there's 2 pairs of brown + purple wires, but the diameter is bigger on one set.
