My mechanic said he noticed my water pump pulley was starting to crack and wear down so I just ordered the part I want to do it myself does anyone have any instructions
More information right here : its part of the water pump install. Its a little tight when you install it up against the engine bay side frame. You might need to use a pry bar against the side to get enough room to remove it.
It's always a good idea to replace the water pump pulley when doing the water pump. The rubber can become detached from the pulley or crack and wear out. We have a DIY on our site HERE as well.
