Don't be discouraged if you can't borrow one, I did mine with a normal rental from autozone.

Ended up renting one, basically no cost for the tool, from Auto Zone.
Had to purchase some M6 bolts, and used some wider nuts to make sure the M6s didn't slip through the tool.
I would say it's not too bad of a job. I ended up using a new crankshaft bolt, keeping the old. Didn't replace the seal, just didn't want to create something by doing so.
You can see where the pulley touched the block.
