valeo clutch

Has anyone experience this with a valeo clutch. This clutch kit has less than 4 month installed. 3 trackdays the rest is daily car. The disk broke down and nobody can tell me why this happened

Yes. It was properly installed. With the centering tool. It was working fine until that happened

I was more curious about whether the front/back orientation was correct.

Yes the flat side of the disk was mounted to the flywheel side.

Before taking it out. You can see that the long part of the disk is to the pressure plate side.

Never seen that on a MINI. Been using Valeo for a while now.

Wonder if the disc was damaged in shipping on the press rivets, then missed on install ?

The boxes can get smoothed pretty easy.

Possible it could have been damaged somehow in shipping, do you remember the box being crushed or anything?
