age old water in battery box...
so once i realized i had water in my battery box, i took to the search bar and already replaced my 3rd brake light (which the lens on mine was absolutely gone) and used silicone caulk to seal around it.
Since doing that, the amount of water in the battery box is significantly gone. however there is still some amount of water leaking in, not much but still enough to be noticeable. feeling around the carpet and under the carpet, the only part that still felt wet was the little piece of material by the positive cable.
any ideas what my next fix should be? Has anyone seen the gasket for the rear hatch be a problem?
I have seen some people say the bump stops, but it doesnt look like that is my issue. nor does the hatch gasket seal seem like a issue,
any input would be great!!

Found this thread, maybe it'll be useful. First post on the 2nd page is what was his issue. If you need any clips or seals we should have some here for you. Let us know what you find!

I've done the brake light and the trunk latch adjustment. Body shop replaced weatherstrip... Etc, my leak is coming from the top of the right window but not coming through the window seal, I'm suspecting the gutter clips... And it's spreading from there.

There are rubber tubes connected to the sunroof cartridge that run to drains on the body. The fronts run down the windshield pillar to the floor, and the rears connect to the two drain holes at the top of the hatch jamb by the roof. These frequently come loose or break and then water leaks into the car.
In the rear, it could be causing your problem. In the front, people usually find it when the carpet is wet, or they start having electrical issues because the water is getting into the BCM module at the passenger side floor panel.

I'm not sure since I've never done it. I remember posts saying you could remove some trim and pull down the headliner enough to see and possibly reconnect the tubes, but they also might be damaging, or putting small creases in the headliner. I've also seen recommendations of adding zip ties, or hose clamps to the tubes to prevent future slippage.
