You can try lubing it...
Remove the cabin filter...
And put a bit of grease on you finger...and reach WAY UP..about when you armpit is in the hole, you will feel the fan, etc...you can carefully lube it...
Did mine about 5 years ago...no issues.

I did two things...
I tried to get some around the center hub/bearing area...
I first used some mobil1 spray lube with a super long red hose...from a seafoam sprayer I think...was just long enough to point into the hub area...then tried to push some mobil1 red grease into it...seems to have fixed it...
I think more is not better, key is location...my might have put a trace on the edge..don't remember, but if you feel around, and look at the skematics, you will have a good idea of what you are feeling.
I understand it is a fairly big job to swap out the fan...so worth a try.
