Notchy Clutch...

Anyone ever have a problem bringing the clutch up from the floor and it being notchy? I'm thinking I have a TO bearing issue. Sometimes I think I might have a piece of gum stuck to the floor board that I push the pedal on to.

I had a weird notchy feeling with my clutch. It turned out to be a floor mat that was out of place and catching on the pedal.

The original cloth ones, but they are not anchored down.

I've had the same thing for 50k miles. Taking it in tomorrow...MINI mechanic thought it might be the clutch fork - covered under warranty.

Yup, same thing happened to me with the rubber mats. Very frustrating to have it happen a few times while I was trying to learn how to drive stick..

pedal not coming back and notchy clutch is due to air in the line or the clutch slave cylinder is going bad.
