Reoccurring 005E19 ABS-DSC CAN data error DME/DDE

I have a nagging “ABS-DSC CAN data error from DME/DDE (DSC lamp on as long as error is present)” problem on an 06 MCS. I have only had the car about 1 month and I am only able to produce the traction control light warning (causes a 005E19) at low speeds < 15 mph and happens consistently when exiting a particular gas station (just the right bump and angle I guess). All other daily driving ~60 miles per day does not cause the error. Another constant error code has been a 304 DME: Misfiring detected – cylinder 4 (always cylinder 4!) I have replaced plugs and wires but continue to get that error too, not sure if they are related or not, but car seems to run great, only 76K. Anyway, the lamp goes out when the ignition is turned off an back on.

I have looked at the CAN bus connections to the DSC Module and they look tight and clean. I have not received any errors from the speed sensors and testing in Rheingold shows the computer is receiving data from all four.
Does anyone have any suggestions for troubleshooting? I hate to pull the DSC module out and send it away for rebuilding if there are other things to check first. (However, that may be my cheapest option.) Not sure if the dealership would be helpful or not before I do that.

Thanks!

Scan ALL the control modules in the car for error codes. An issue with one control module can cause CAN communication issues in another.

jecmini - I know this is old... hoping to blow the dust off this page. How did you end up with your faults - 005E19 and 00304 hit my R53 today - I heard the misfire and knew I drop a cylinder at idle.

Did you work it out, can you direct me?

John.

I have ignored it and maybe see the issue 1 or 2 times every 5k... i do run techron through every 7k but doubt that affects this. Still nothing noticeable and I daily drive 30 miles. Has 126k now. Sorry not much help if I ever do a rebuild will see if there is a ring issue. Sorry not much help. Check out my youtube there are a few mini things sesmechanic.
