Grinding noise on acceleration/deceleration?! HELP!

The skinny:

Pre Jan-2003 MCS R53. 115,XXXmi. Noticed this noise after I got my megan coilovers on 11-2013. Not sure where it's coming from, wheel bearings are new, rotors and pads are new. (changed on 3-2014). Engine mounts are about a year old. Tires are quite new, purchased 12-2013.

Guessing it might be the clutch? My clutch has been starting to slip, thus the sluggish acceleration.

Help!

Though I could not pick it up on the vid I would suspect axle. Probably the RF from lowering your suspension.

Have not heard of anyone having much luck with aftermarket axles when lowered, most say they will last about 2/3 months, so better off with OEM.

specifically the RF? do you mean Right Front?

yeah, it seems to be faint in the video, but its quite loud from the cabin. I did just change the passenger front axle.. but they were indeed aftermarket. OEM was a little pricey, but it seems that might just be the solution..

i'll try to make a better video too.

thanks for the input!

In my opinion do not go after market or re manned unless it's the 600 or 800 whp version axes from a drive shaft. I've seen a nice pair made with porsche cv bits. Looked hot.

Simply go on used - car parts and buy the lowest mile ones you can find. Should be 100.00 to 150.00 per axel and cv.
