I have a 06 cooper s with the getrag 6 speed. At the transmission end of the shift cable there is the mechanism that moves 2 pins that shift the gears. Mine is worn down allowing slop in the stick. It is made of aluminum, but I have seen a nice zinc plated steel one on a guys mini before, but he couldn't recall where he got it. Does anybody else have this problem? Where can I get one that's not 70 bucks and will take a month to ship? I really want that steel one i saw, but if i could guess, it was custom. It's the mechanism in the picture.
