I changed the oil a couple of weeks back, and when I took the car off the ramps I immediately had idle problems and yellow check engine light. The codes were p 1638,1639,2102. 1638 is throttle valve position control, and 2102 is throttle actuator A control motor circuit low. My car is a 2007 Mini Cooper s. I manually cleaned out the intake valves a few months ago, and I cleaned out the throttle body at that time. The car has been running very well since the valve clean out. It happens only when I am in stop and go traffic. Sometimes I can go a day or two without problems then it comes back. When it gets bad the cruise control warning light comes on in addition and I lost power trying to enter the highway. Thanks for any help you can offer.
