Audio system power issues?

Hey all. I've a huge audio system install planned for my clubman and am wondering if anyone that has done systems in gen 2 minis, if you've had any issues. In particular, any power issues? I first replaced the alt and bat. Upgrading both to high power and output...also did the big 3 upgrade. But the mini computer didn't seem to care for that. So now my plan is to run the stock bat and alt, then run a 2nd deep cycle bat in the rear. Connect from the alt to an isolator, then to the rear bat. All audio will run off that rear bat. Question is, has anyone else done this? If so, any complications? How long has it been setup that way? Any help you guys can provide would be awesome.
Thanks.

What exactly are you planning on putting in? I've never needed to add an additional battery or upgrade the alternator on ANY system I've done and some of them were VERY large setups.
Also, a second battery will INCREASE the load on the alternator, not decrease it.
