CEL, limp mode, no codes?

I've got an 07' MCS with about 63k miles. The yellow CEL light has came on twice now and I brought it to the local Oreillys and they couldn't find any codes while scanning it...

Wtf? Any ideas?

You need someone with a MINI scan tool to read out the data, the generic tool they have won't give you all the info.
